could be. i just can't imagine the transmission of sound through so many holes sounding good. thats got to do all kinds of bad things. if it does sound good, in my mind it will be due to tuning the sound to a severe physical limitation.

at my parents house. heard a monstrous cracking sound out back. my dad went out with a flashlight and said a 'huge' piece of tree is in our back yard. really glad it didnt hit the house. i will probably go check out my house tomorrow or wednesday, hoping my giant oak survived, its the favorite part of my yard.

I want apple to keep pushing the boundaries of their casework, and I find it silly for the process to be held back by something like a disc drive. I do use mine, but if you are in the disc market you can afford an external.

i will not miss the ipod connectors one bit. they were not that bad when the connector had some meat on it, but then they shortened it and it was awful. almost as bad as the deer park water bottle caps. *&$#@#*!
