  1. Леонид Сойбельман - Жулики (Leonid Soybelman - Juliki) A bit of ska a touch of free-jazz all mixed with klezmer and large doese of balkan and russian bar music.
  2. I did not even see a dog after I read it. Took me a while, lol.
  3. This is another good version that is easy to find. I wanted to listen to this album once I saw Deepak's post.
  4. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Creative Sounds 6006 CD done with Sabbath, now on to: Julie Driscoll - 1969 (1971) Good album, if you like Julie's voice.

  6. Eclat - Volume I & II (1996) and Eclat - Volume 3 (1997) I like them, very nice french prog.
  7. Great! I will be there one of the days as well.
  8. AXPONA 2011 June 24-25 in NYC This thing looks to be very big and interesting. No shows in NYC in the past few years so I am looking forward to this. Anyone from NY coming?
  9. I bet adding a small sub would make these even better
  10. I just got two brand new Aera albums on Long Hair Music. These are archival releases of BR recordings. I am currently enjoying this stuff a lot, a bit pricey as all LH CDs are but if you are a fan of Aera get them. Aera - The Bavarian Radio recordings Vol. 1, 1975 Aera - The Bavarian Radio recordings Vol. 2, 1977-79
  11. I remember liking NHT SuperZero with Rotel integrated many years ago, it was a very nice sounding cheap system for a small room/office. Not a lot of bass, but they are tiny so that's expected. Hope you like them.
  12. NHT Super Zero are good sounding small speakers. There is a pair now on Agon for peanuts. Depth: 5 inches Height: 9 inches Width: 5.5 inches Weight: 5.7 pounds
  13. Gavin Friday - Each Man Kills the Thing He Loves
  14. Yeah, my experience with various Black Treasure tubes in friends systems is that they are very balanced and good sounding tubes but not overly fluid in the mids, but take this with a grain of salt as I discovered I really like SE Pendode sound and find most DHSET amps too fat sounding. When at my uncles house I spend about a week listening to Art Audio HC Jota and Almarro A318A. While I did like Almarro A318A I found it to be too midrangy. I loved Art Audio HC Jota with KR 52BX tubes, best combination of power and finesse I heard in a tube amp yet. He also had VAC PA90, he had some Black Treasure tubes in it and it sounded very good with them, much better than with SED EL34s.
  15. I found a bunch of really cheap new Innova CDs over at my favorite used CD store in the modern classical section. Surprisingly most of these are very good albums, not a single dud so far. Timothy McAllister - Glint (2010)
  16. Black treasures are nice tubes. I never heared the 300b BT, but KT99 BT tubes very very nice as far as KT88 go Did you ever try to match your Fi amp to a more sensitive speakers? I heard larger Fi 2a3 amp and it was very nice, a bit "fat" sounding but very sweet and transparent.
  17. I think he is taking about forward sounding, as in mids overall and vocals, image pushed upfront. I heard Harbeth do this in some systems. I never heard them to be bright, they are dark sounding if anything.
  18. Looks very nice. I bet the imaging and low level details are off the hook. Does Wavac MD300b also sound a bit "fat" in the mids and low end like most 300b amps do?
  19. Is this good? What is Zorn up to these days? N.P. Dave Holland - Conference of the Birds (1973)
  20. Don "Sugarcane" Harris - Sugar Cane's Got the Blues (1972)
  21. Microscopic Septet - Take the Z Train (1983)
