That's the aluminum. Also, the Titanium takes PC-133 RAM, the aluminum takes either DDR PC-2700 or DDR2 PC2-4200. I think you mentioned PC-2700 RAM in the other thread as it was the module that was in the computer when you first received it.

Sorry, I meant what format are you abandoning? FLAC, AAC MP3, APE...etc. You can do that in iTunes...just go into the preference menu; go to the Advanced menu; under importing you can set the behavior of the program when you insert a CD: You can either: Show CD Start Playing CD Ask to Import CD Import CD Import CD and Eject The album gets tagged with CDDB tags automatically (although those can be wrong of course). And it always rips the CD to whatever codex you specified. So just set up a stack of CDs and rip tunes while you browse the internet each night.... that's how I initially re-ripped my CDs as Apple Lossless.

What will you re-rip to? From?

I hope it's easier to deal with than Signal or iPeng. While I've used both and they have their merits, I'm not keen on the playlist approach....I just want to be able to browse and select songs/artists/albums the same way I do in iTunes. While Signal works well, I'm not keen on the playlist approach.

For my rega P1, I know, it's like getting fancy rims for a Geo Metro, but it makes a big difference and I can finally say I like vinyl better than digital...so it's time to get a serious vinyl rig going.

Yeah this last episode was pretty darn good. overall the 4th season has not disappointed.

The 2SK389 I believe. But you can substitute it with another part, can't remember which, I've got it written down somewhere, Justin knows of course and I'm sure Kevin knows as well. I was lucky enough to come across a place that still had 2SK389 in stock, but it took like 2 months for me to get them.

Huh, I was able to get the new Aimee Mann at Best Buy this weekend. I guess they're not as strict about that sort of thing with some artists.

I do too, for dynamics I've got: HD600, PX100, E500 and ATH-W3000. I think I'm done there (unless of course the mythical HD800 comes out of hiding). There are other cans I'd like to own, but frankly the desire to own multiple cans is seriously looking less and less attractive. I'm considering dumping the HD600 as well and making the W3000 my mine large can, but I do really like the HD600 and it's nice to have an open option....we'll see. I might try to check out custom molds for the E500, but if I did that, I think I'd rather just go with a UE11.
