I have always been a big fan of Urban Spoon. The new iPad version is even better than the iPhone version and is really useful in a strange city like NYC.

Finally. Do you want to pick up this extra Camera Connection Kit? I did my first sample with the kit and Photogene editing software and was able to successfully post a Facebook photo. Had some failed attempts but it finally went through. I think the slow ass 3G might have had something to do with the failures.

The camera connection kit is actually pretty useful. Images transfer pretty quickly and you can do some decent fixes with Photogene. I just wish I had wifi here as trying to push a full size image across the Sprint 3G Overdrive is very, very slow. The other weird thing is that is downsizes the image to iPad screen size and even if you e-mail the image from Photos you only get the smaller 2048 image size. I guess that makes things easy to post but I hope when I take them off at home when connected to iTunes they come out full size.

So I will look for bike messengers in Chicago at CanJam and know everyone that is carrying an iPad.

I am a fucking trend setter. Buy them while they are still available. Can't get digital out to work with any of the big DACs.

I am making a list for CanJam. Beware. I cannot add Hi-Res files to the iPad. I get a message telling me they were not added because they cannot play on this iPad.

How did I know that was coming? Maybe I will slide a .45 in mine to make it more manly.

I will hook it up to the dCS stack tonight. Dinny I picked up an extra Camera kit thinking you might want one. They were heading out the door pretty quickly.

I wish I could have gotten it in a Mauve. I also got a brown Man Purse.

I take that back. The USB cable I was using was the problem, I now have music. I also bought a new Canon PowerShot SX210 IS to carry in my bag and some weird iPad purse so it was a good day.

Well, the Camera connection kit does not seem to work with USB out to the Pico Amp/DAC. I cannot get it to do anything but play out of the onboard speaker.

They can't seem to get the camera connections into the stores anyway. None of the NYC stores have them is stock this morning.

Yeah, the fifty dollars seems way too steep for the Belkin. Still I use it much more than the other cases because I get mine out when riding the subway and this is the only case that I can get a sure grip on the iPad and can read books with one hand. The Apple case sucks and I have not tried many more. I don't really use mine as an iPod so the headphone thing is only a problem when I want to watch a movie and I don't have one of my little extenders.

There is a Dinosaur Barbecue up in upper Manhattan right off of the West Side Highway. I still greatly prefer Virgils.

It can be used with Amarra as you can use Amarra without actually controlling the little Amarra window but you have to have some other way to actually open/turn off or on Amarra. Are you controlling a headless Mac Mini or is this to control a computer from across the room that has full controls at the actual computer?

The free Apple remote has not been updated for iPad yet so I can't comment on its capabilities. The Rowmote is similar but easier to function on the iPad than the Touch. The VPN capability on the iPad is great for controlling my Mini/Amarra so I use it for this function much more than the remote.

There is room for any straight plug besides the stupidly large Viablue plugs. The customs that use the right angle fat plug will not fit either.

I have that case and really like it but I have to use the adapters that came with my Switcheasy cases to get the JH13 cable and the Whiplash cables to fit. Great case though.

Probably at the Apple store. That is what I am going to try.

I had actually forgotten about screen grab on the iPhone. Already learning new things as I hope to discover new apps based on people's grabs.

So lets see what you guys have. So far the games are my favorite but I have found some really great business tools as well.
