No I just bought Rowmote before I bought iTeleport. Rowmote is a nice GUI for the control while iTeleport is screen sharing that looks quite a bit sharper than standard screen sharing. I am sure iTeleport does a million other things but I just use it for chat, iTunes control and sending myself files via e-mail.

Dinny, we should get together this week and I can let you take the iPad for a spin. Colin is coming in on Friday, maybe he would have time to eat some BBQ with us. I have not turned on my MacBook Pro since getting the iPad. Now that I have both Rowmote and iTeleport I am doing even more with the iPad that I used to do with the laptop.

I got my Overdrive today so I am out of luck unless I return this one and go to South Jersey to pick on up at one of those Best Buys. I got a little sleeve for the Overdrive and will probably just drop it in my bag like that instead of going through all that trouble.

Excellent, I was just wondering how I would carry my new Overdrive with the iPad if I did not want to drag around a bag. It only seems to be for sale at a very limited number of Best Buys so I am not sure how I will get my hands on one.

Has anyone tried the Things for iPad app? I have been putting notes/to do lists in Notes but this looks like it might work well in keeping me organized.

I personally would pick Hoboken and parts of Jersey City long before I would consider Astoria. Hoboken to the City is quicker than Astoria to the City in many cases and the nightlife/atmosphere is dramatically better in my opinion. By the way, if you work in NYC, you pay New York Income Tax so Jersey is not necessarily going to save you anything on taxes.

Really enjoying mine. Spent some time tonight trying to figure out the AOL chat app with Brent's assistance. I found it worked very well as a lone computer during my trip to the West Coast. The Apple Case was waiting for me when I got home. Not sure if I am going to use it or not as I like this travel case and I like the grip case better.

I had my first issue with the Wifi dropouts at the SFO Airport. Trying to use a TMobile Hotspot and for about the first 10 minutes and especially when trying to go through the process of buying the time it kept losing the connection. Since this is the only time I have had the problem I assume it is a TMobile-specific issue but after the first few minutes it worked the rest of the day fine.

Anyone using the inCase Travel case yet. I played with it at the Apple Store and found it can fit the iPad, the small bluetooth keyboard and a bunch of other stuff but would still fit in my briefcase. I managed to use the iPad as my sole computer at a client's site yesterday and was actually pretty happy with the results. It is hard going back to this stupid work Dell.

I have been using the iPad info app and noticed that it now gives me ads on all four corners telling me to download the Bing app for free. I guess they put together this cheesy app so that they could sneak in ads.

Looks like the weak wifi rumors are starting to gain traction. I am using mine now on my seventh different wifi setup and I have yet to have a single problem but evidently some people are having a lot of issues even getting online. Anyone besides Mike having problems here?

I rally like the combination of the Belkin gel sleeve and my tumi sleeve. The gel makes it so much easier to use the case. I am not sure if a tilt feature will be worth giving up the better handling characteristics when I get home to my Apple case.
