Has anyone tried the new filtered ear plugs from JH? I think I need to replace the Ety plugs and Earasers for music and motorcycle riding as I can not really hear a difference between having them in and out. My custom shooting plugs are super uncomfortable so I am thinking heavily attenuated JH plugs with lesser filters would be a nice pick up.

Yep, I read that. The store I shopped at actually shut down last year. My local shop in Illinois that I bought the Jones and Litespeed from also just disappeared recently.

I was in Wicker Park this weekend and Small Cheval was practically empty, the same food without the wait I think.

Does that place make you wait over 4 hours for a burger like the last place you guys took me?

Gorgeous guitar Naaman. I think Taylor’s are considered as easy on the fingers as they come as I know the Martins really tear up my fingers.

Not sure I know of a guitar with a tuner built in. Not sure why it would even be necessary.

So you want the pick-ups for when you start street husking on a little amp? If I was going to buy a sub $1000 guitar I would look at the Dirty 30s from Recording King http://www.recordingking.com/guitars/rds9. I think it is less than $1000 or some of the better Yamahas. You can put pick-ups on any of them if you decide you need them. I would get a better guitar up front and spend money on pick-ups later.

Picked up my BMW Navigation system and grabbed the SCHUBERTH comm package for my helmet. Now since the bike is in winter storage I will need to set it all up and then walk the streets with my helmet on and the GPS directing so I can check that I can talk on the phone, listen to music and get directions all in the proper priority. Going to try to do a brisket in the cold this weekend. I think I might go for a slightly faster cook than normal of 6-7 hours, half in the fancy brisket fairy paper. It will probably suck but it is a last minute gathering of the Polish people so they probably don't know real BBQ anyway.

You get a decent discount for being a JH Audio pro or something if you have previous headphones and then they do the holiday sales periodically. I think I got at least 30% off the Roxanne’s.

I greatly prefer the modern Roxannes to my older JH13s and with the crazy sales they often have you can get them for about the same price as the JH-13s. Not sure if the modern ones are dramatically better than my two older pairs of 13s but I am happy with the Roxanne’s, but I am not ruling out the Layla’s at some point when I get bored.
