  1. Everyone needs more in/out. But we digress.
  2. Aztec Camera -- Frestonia Roddy Frame is close to the top of my list of former teenage Scottish pop idols who keep making good music despite the fact they can barely get arrested anymore. Didn't say it was long list.
  3. Ray La Montagne -- Gossip In The Grain
  4. Nice setup! I like my GS-1 a lot as a preamp, too.
  5. The Waterboys -- A Rock In The Weary land
  6. Thanks for the advice. Vista it is. Now to start rooting out all the other crapware.
  7. Simaudio Moon Rock. Excellent bass grip!
  8. Thomas Dolby -- The Flat Earth
  9. Depends whether you kill her in the furnace room first.
  10. Well, that utterly buggers my upgrade plan!
  11. You're all haters. This is the discretest headamp in the world. It banged Paris Hilton in a club toilet last week and hasn't even told its best mates!
  12. Maybe Beefy knows something about these Aussie blokes? Their new Headamp popped up on HF this morning. It looks quite interesting as a potential match with HD800s. It's powered by their own discrete opamps, which they apparently also sell separately. Has anyone had any experience with rolling these?
  13. Douched if you does. Douched if you doesn't. It's a pair a' dicks!
  14. Basement Jaxx -- Remedy

  17. I've had the luxury of making my own Mac computing arrangements for both work and play over the last decade or more -- so I haven't really used a version of Windows since 95. Anyway, I'm about to buy a new laptop for my mom and was wondering what I should do about the OS -- is Vista really bad enough that I need to go get a copy of XP instead? She's in her 70s and uses the PC pretty much exclusively for email, Flickr and Skype video chats with the grandkids. Simplicity and stability are key -- as she's also 8,000 miles away and tech support is me. And no, she doesn't want a Macbook.
  18. The Boo Radleys -- Wake Up!
  19. Nice! Looks like they got your rocks off. Aha ha.
  20. Sorry, it's USB-only I think.
  21. They've got my number. And it is #119.
