I would guess yes since it's much harder (so far) to track new posts/threads. I find the new content to vary from device to device.

I've been using handbrake to do the conversion but it's been unreliable at best, any suggestions? And it's slow as frack as well even on seemingly powerful compys.

Most offer single file DL's for premium users now and my luck with torrents is nowhere near as good. Now if I could just get the PS3 to play mkv's since it seems that all the 720P rips are encoded that way.

Had minor surgery to deal with a severe infection in my left pinkie finger. Today's lesson aka words that you never want to hear from your Dr., "I'm going to have to take the nail off." It's pretty cheap insurance on the keyboard and hinges, both of which had to be replace on my macbook after about 16mo. And lots of people simply don't feel comfortable working on computers/laptops. Me, I'll work on desktops all day, laptops, no thanks. For me, who loves taking things apart and building things the itty bitty bullshit screws used in most laptops are an invitation for anger.

I'd go AC on the mbp, much easier to just be able to bring it into a nearby (presumably) Apple store and have it serviced right there instead of having to ship it out.

I heard there were several playable demos of it in back rooms at CES.

At least another 6" on the ground this morning and it's still snowing hard.

Jenny Owen Youngs - Transmitter Failure I like this album a lot.

Shoveled about 2' of snow off the back deck in 15F sunshine, which was actually quite enjoyable.

It might be worth separating the circuits into two panel but you'd probably accomplish the same with just a dedicated individual breaker and a better ground for the whole system.

I suspect it'll be a late night of snow blowing or an early morning. It wasn't snowing when I got home a half hour ago, it's snowing like a bastard out again now though and according to the ever-changing forecast could continue as late as midnight. All of the snow removal that I did this morning is impossible to see, which means we've probably gotten another 6 to 8" along with the blowing wind.

We had 8 to 10" on the ground when I left at 8:30. Probably 12" or so here at work and still coming down. It was an entertaining drive in and should be on the way home too.

Marc, remind me, which model are you running?

That avatar is a whole load of win. About the size of the bag/backpack, the Aeronaut is 2700cu-in, even larger than the Skytrain that Shelly mentioned so your comment confuses Marc. What am I missing?

Anywhere from 8 to 14 forecast here, but they've missed the mark badly for the last two storms (predicting much, getting little) so I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll be at work regardless, having about 2 months of work piled on my desk in the last two days all scheduled to be completed in the next 2 weeks.
