It's been my experience that 90% of Grados are Red=Left, White=Right, Blue=Ground. Which ground is which is pretty easy to determine once they have been separated.
Regardless of the comparisons made the rarity of the HE60 isn't going to change and as long as they remain well regarded (which I don't see changing) I see no reason to think that their "value" will change substantially. The only thing I can see changing it would be if Senn introduced a better, similarly priced (~$2k) stat headphone.
I don't see HE60 prices dropping any time soon. I really wish I'd snatched a set when they were selling for less than a grand. Oh well, 20:20 hindsight and all that.
Jack, you should be able to get a few free empty boxes from your local cigar store. Play up the fact that you're building up a collection and need them for your humidor.
