  1. Nice Meaghan is running the Marine Corps Marathon. She also qualified for the halfmax nationals (half ironman) but isn't sure she will go.
  2. congrats on the bonus. I've gotten one of varying size every year I've worked at my current job but I can't even tell co-workers because apparently most/all of them believe that the company doesn't give bonuses. I'm not complaining but it's weird that they don't make it more public when they reward people but I'm not going to rub it in anyone's face.
  3. ^oh yeah I bought more bike crap yesterday and my new power meter is supposed to ship next week
  4. Congrats
  5. slept in until 7 and got to work at 8:30. That felt good I was at work by 6am yesterday and out after 6pm Today is looking better though.
  6. A really expensive ticket out to Detroit Michigan (I'm going to Ann Arbor) for a day next week. Got to love airlines charging $900+ from one airport and $400 from another when the distance is identical or maybe 50 miles more from the $400 one.
  7. Woke up groggy after the time zone shift. Went to work. Found massive incompetence. Had long conversation with boss about massive incompetence. Got yearly review. Fixed some of the massive incompetence. Dealt with clients and landed some more work for incompetent team mates. Started planning a 1 day trip back to Ann Arbor MI for work. Yay! Edit: Congrats all on all the Anniversaries. Yesterday was 5 years from when I proposed to my wife (we had Mexican in the Denver airport to celebrate ) Bummer on the teaching job for your wife Al. I was a prof for a while and thought I wanted to go back but now I'm interacting more with profs from the other side I'm done with the academic environment I think. Maybe I will teach a few classes sometime or something.
  8. Got up early and flew out of San Diego to Denver. Now I'm using the free Denver Airport Wifi. Off to DC at 4pm local time. Going to be nice to be home after 10 days away. Been an awesome trip though.
  9. Happy Birthday!
  10. According to the plot here: (on the Specifications pageThe β22 Stereo Amplifier (on the "specifications page) the slew rate on the beta22 is more than 200 v/microsecond (at least in the first results for the 100kHz square wave). So you're aiming for 2000 v/microsec
  11. happy birthday!
  12. Dusty: Wow! Me: Ran 9.3 miles. Running blows.
  13. I was really impressed with this when I tried this: Mytek Digital Stereo96 Series - DAC | VintageKing.com Though it certainly isn't impressive looking.
  14. ? I have tethered my windows phone several times both using USB and bluetooth and it worked just fine on the AT&T network. I even used for an entire day it last year when the internet was out at my house. I haven't done it in a while though, maybe it has changed.
  15. Good luck with the look I guess...
  16. Holy shit those are expensive jeans.
  17. Salt Peanuts: Sorry for the bad start to the day. Me: Woke up and then went for a 5 mile run with my wife. Which really consists of me plodding along while she ran off and came back a few times. Still it wasn't a terrible start to the day.
  18. Congrats on the S.O. Aura Me: Flew from San Francisco to San Diego to see my in-laws. Listened to the Pico Slim with my ER4-S and the Creative Zen as a source. I love that system. Sounds fucking awesome (to me).
  19. I had a in-and-out burger for the first and probably the last time, good but not five guys good. Got Fabian Cancellara and others' signatures So stoked!
  20. Yesterday: Got up early and flew to SFO with my wife. Went out to Alcatraz on a tour. Had dinner at "La Folie" as a splurge and it was awesome. Today: Got up early and did a 5 mile run with wife. It was slow for her but it was fine for me since I can't run worth shit. Then checked out where she used to live and had brunch where we used to go when we were first going out and I was in town visiting. Then went to the California Academy of Sciences which was cool. Tomorrow: My wife running Bay to Breakers tomorrow and I'll go and watch her finish.
  21. I was trying to figure it out Yes you and justin and whoever are absolutely correct.
  22. Well if it was a government contract and paid for by the government they own it, and control what it's supposed to be used for. At least that is the way it works on the several thousand government contracts that go on around here. Of course there could be very specific provisions in the contract that exempt this but I seriously doubt it.
  23. One of my wifes friends is a Coast Guard officer assigned there to social duties and got us a tour. That said, you can write your congressperson and request a tour. I think that was in 1814
  24. My bad. I assumed that you were using a university license of PSpice or some such to do the work, if it's just Spice then do whatever you want as you said. I guess I should never make an assumption with you Kevin. Ray's guy is still blatantly illegal.
