Reks, glad to hear the recovery is going better than expected.
Nate, sorry to hear about your finger/nail.
Matt, get to work you slacker, strep throat, fever, what are a baby? Just kidding, feel better.
I had a Mil Shark 750T that I regret selling. I'm tempted by the Mil Shark 5000T. The price new is a lot but not bad considering what they used to be. I'm on the look out for a used one.
This was kind of my feeling. The roller bags are heavy so I don't want to carry them and they roll so why carry them. I'm hoping that with the weight savings on the Airboss and the flexibility in different carrying methods, I will prefer this to my roller bag.
Nice knife Shelly. Reks, how does that stuff compare to the Shun Classic. The prices seem pretty reasonable.
I'm thinking of going with a 7" Wusthof cleaver for cutting ribs. Mens Journal recommended the 9" but I think that is more cleaver than I need. I need something that can handle blade on bone contact.
Made a couple of pizzas for lunch, one mushroom and the other cheese.
I have 2 spatchcock chickens on the Traeger for dinner. I used some cajun injection and peeper, smoked paprika, kosher salt, garlic and onion powder. I coated the skin with olive oil.
Al, how did that roast turn out?
I have Squaretrade on the phone, not sure I would get one on a mac. I've never needed warranty service on any of my macs, other than my daughters old MB.
Cj, welcome to the dark side. There is no turning back now. I'm waiting for a MBA upgrade to see if they give the 11.6" more processor power. I also may just go 13" since I will have an iPad as well. I have found since owning the iPad, as much as I like it, I still prefer my MBP when home. I want the same ease of use, in terms of typing but without the weight. Besides, the MBA's are just cool.
Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 @ 2.4 ghz. I should add that I am already running boot camp so I do not need Parallels. I don't know if that creates any problems when I tried Parallels in the past.
I really like the ID messenger bag so far. It has lots of room and is very comfortable to carry. While my Tumi briefcase is more professional, I think it will be retired in lieu of the ID. I prefer across the chest carry to shoulder carry, which the big advantage the ID has over the Tumi. It also has a nice zipper pocket on the front flap where I can keep a gun. I am looking forward to checking out the Red Oxx gear but I think I am a Bhin fanboy at this point.
I agree, but we have one machine with 8 GB and it doesn't appear to run any ether than the machines with 4 GB. My MB (first aluminum MB) has 4 GB and a lesser processor than the iMacs and it struggles with Paralells.
