  1. It should be just as easy as this: I wanted a bionic hand at a minimum, but the death claw idea is rather appealing. The surgery can happen anytime, or not at all. I can also get a steroid injection as an alternative, but that is short-term at best. I am thinking sometime after February.
  2. Ugh, sorry Haj. We went through a lot of ear infections with one of our kids, and luckily avoided the more drastic measures. Here's hoping it clears up before Libby gets there. As for my own medical status, I went to see a doctor about pain and lack of mobility in my right wrist where I had a bone graft surgery 22 years ago. He quickly confirmed that I have arthritis around the surgery location and told me I need surgery to fuse three bones together, insert some permanent pins, and shave down a fourth bone if I want to get rid of the pain and discomfort. Sadly, no miracle treatments have been found in the last two decades so that I could actually recover range of motion and strength, But if I do the surgery and wear a cast for 6 weeks then I can at least avoid further deterioration and pain. Fun times, but not really that big of a deal (especially in comparison to other issues discussed in this thread).
  3. Have a great day and thanks for serving our country.

  15. It would be better if it had actual drink suggestions rather than 6 oz lemon juice and 6 oz heroine. Funny, but not as helpful.
  16. Amaro Amore 2oz gin .5oz Aperol--don't substitute 2tsp Maraschino 2 dashes jerry Thomas barrel aged bitters I forgot that most of my stuff is in Fairfax and that i didn't have Aperol but oh well it was tasty.
  17. Yeah, very nice Jim. The bar is getting better stocked by the minute! You will definitely have to report back on the new Parker's Heritage, the Amaro Bassano, and the barrel aged Bols, in addition to the bottled manhattan that you already committed to discuss elsewhere. Enjoy!
  18. Cool cocktail choice, Marc. I'll try that one sometime. At City Beer having a Bruery Cuir, barrel aged old ale. Tastes a bit queer. Moving on to a Supplication.
  19. You'll have to ask him directly because he barely ever reads the forums (except when somebody says, "Hey Todd, you're losing sales because your website is bonky.")
