  1. Very nice, Sir Stretch! Yay Team Vinyl!
  2. They seem totally disorganized and I am amazed how long they can drag out these releases. I have not seen anything on the SACDs for a long time. I would check the Hoffman forum for info.
  3. Plunge taken on both AP (25 titles) and ORG (7 titles) subscriptions. First 3 from AP and first two from ORG on their way to me today. I love the Impulse! stuff so I had to do it. Heather at AS confirmed that it is her understanding the AP titles are pressed at RTI. Here's to hoping they do them right.
  4. The EC phono pre is really great and a bargain if Craig can keep it in the $900-1200 range he was talking about at the last meet.
  5. But that is what an iPod Universal Dock is for because it charges and has a line out and remote.
  6. That sounds great, Carl. I hope the second half was at least as good. That is a good concert.
  7. Joshua Redman Quartet -- Moodswing 180gm LP while digitizing it
  8. Curious if there is some sort of Mini upgrade. I am somewhat amazed -- but very happy -- that they have kept it in the lineup.
  9. How much are you willing to spend on this Vicki?
  10. Have a great one Peter! Rock on. Cheers!

    Or ass juice.
  12. Apparently I forgot to follow up with a post, but I asked Sonic and they said that they did add that capability in the last couple months. Thanks for posting the correct info.
  13. I wanted to post something here because I posted about buying some HD Tracks recently and others were talking about doing the same. On Computer Audiophile they are saying that there has been some credit card fraud that users believe originated from HDT purchases. Luckily, I used Paypal and don't see any problems associated, but I have not been able to get onto their site today, so here is the link for anyone interested: WARNING! HDTRACKS.COM SITE IS STEALING CREDIT CARD INFO | Computer Audiophile
  14. That's actually a pneumatic flap for easy access. I wanted to post something here because I was playing some HD Tracks downloaded recently and others were talking about doing the same. Luckily, I used Paypal and don't see any problems associated, but I have not been able to get onto their site today, so here is the link for anyone interested: WARNING! 15. Assuming that I wanted to be a gay disco Ultraman, nttawwt!
  16. Justin?
  17. Mine was done in-store when I bought because I was impatient.
  18. Ask JP if it is easy to open up and re-close a Mac Mini! It was a nightmare for him, but he was doing something more than just RAM. I had it done by Apple because their prices are a little better these days.
  19. And moronically flushing away kilobucks. Don't forget that either.
  20. I think he was commenting on your music preferences.
  21. You aren't missing anything that I can think of. I have a Mac Mini as my music server, and it works great with Amarra. Jon Reichback of Sonic prefers the Mini and the Amarra website has a nice list of things you can do to maximize the performance by getting rid of stuff you don't need and turning shit off. Max out the RAM and processor for sure. What is the deal with Rowmote? The Remote program on the iPhone works fine but I am not sure what Rowmote is. Streaming elsewhere is apparently possible, but probably not the actual Amarra output. Check Computer Audiophile for info on that in one or more of the Amarra threads. Enjoy!
  22. Hope you had a good one, and sorry for the delay in well-wishing you. Cheers!
  23. Rhapsody has cover art, so those are easy to pull up. For other stuff, I just do the same as Nate with Google Images and it usually works. Not hard except for obscure stuff. Now playing: Al Cohn -- Play It Now
  24. Jim Hall & Enrico Pieranunzi -- Duologues
  25. I have been dawdling on these -- especially because of the other two series I am in for the Blue Notes -- but I have contacted AS to see about signing up. I asked about where they were pressed when I emailed Heather. At least one knowledgeable SH Forums guy with the first three titles thinks they were pressed at Pallas. From talking with Steve Hoffman previously, it seemed that he had worked on the first 7-8 titles and of the first 12 sides, 10 had his initials in the dead wax along with Kevin Gray's. That would seem to confirm he was involved to an extent, although KG will do a great job solo as well.
