RIP Mayor Lee. He backed into the mayor's office when Gavin Newsom became Lt Governor, and didn't even want to run for the office when his appointment was ending. I didn't think much of Smilin' Ed at the time because he seemed like a lightweightullivan. He turned me around by his service and commitment to the City. He was also a vocal member of my daughter's C40 Cities organization that supports cities in combating climate change by increasing sustainability. He will be missed.
