I agree with you regarding the LCD-1. The frame seems to be unable to fit properly on my head as well. I think it may have had to do with the weight of the drivers/cups? I was listening to blessingx's rig and actually liked the CD3000 more out of his Extreme Platinum vs. the HD800. The bass had more weight, but the HD800 had better soundstage. Having a skinny/boney head didn't help with getting seal on the HD800 as well since there aren't really 'pads' in the traditional sense on the HD800. That might have affected my listening experience.

I have 1 ft long RCA's from BJC and have kind of regretted not getting something a tad longer. Also, heels-6 on ebay sells 1m pairs of the Star Quad for a bit cheaper than BJC for the same length. I've dealt with him before and he ships almost as quickly and his packing is superb.

Got mine for around $40 so I felt it was a pretty good deal. They look pretty similar... with the MX 1100 being a little more sculpted.

NICE. I just bought a Logitech MX1100 wireless mouse. Liking it so far.
