If yours does sound all peaky in the highs, then it must be the blue or maybe just this copy. Oh well, the blue vinyl is pretty at least.

This might be one of those urban legends, but I read somewhere the non-black vinyl is made from virgin raw material since it's colored, whereas a lot of plants pressing black vinyl are using recycled material. So the colored vinyl in some cases will sound better. also in my experience, clear vinyl sounds badass. My sample size is really small, but my clear vinyl sounds great

I also have Rollins Band Weight on clear vinyl, and it rocks the fuck out.
