This might be one of those urban legends, but I read somewhere the non-black vinyl is made from virgin raw material since it's colored, whereas a lot of plants pressing black vinyl are using recycled material. So the colored vinyl in some cases will sound better. also in my experience, clear vinyl sounds badass. My sample size is really small, but my clear vinyl sounds great Report
