After a two year headphone hiatus, I'm back, having just purchased some SR-009's, coupled with being in Reykjavik and finally meeting Spritzer in person. His hospitality has been great and I'm thrilled to have the new headphones; on the downside, I'm going to need a fuck-ton of money to properly amplify my electrostatic collection. So, before you think of giving to UNICEF or some Ebola research site, please contact me - I'm not sick and I need amp money!

Welcome back!  Love the enthusiasm about headphones.  We probably don't talk about them enough around here these days, but find plenty of other things to talk about so it all balances out.

He ended up with my last KGST.    Here I am listening to my brand new SR-009 which showed up today from Justin on my personal KGST after dropping Bob off at the hotel. 

I thought you rid yourself of a pair 009's some time ago? Any particular reason for revisiting them? 

 

The exchange rate has been looking pretty inviting for quite a while...

I needed a set to tune the new KGSSHV Carbon which will be designed specially for them.  Also the price was too good to not get one.

I personally think the KGSSHV as is, is already brilliant with the SR-009s! Amazing it can only get better!
