Due to lack of staffing, I've worked on my shift alone for a year and a half (swing shift in IT at a casino), so I've been lucky enough to work alone for a while. Unfortunately, the casino break room is shared by all staff, so there are 50 people in there at any time. Some people annoy the shit out of me because they're so loud and obnoxious, and the annoying people are usually from Table Games. I know nobody cares, just sayin'

that kid was so damn annoying, he wanted to buy something from me one time. he began imming me, to the point i had to block the guy cuz id see screens full of shit every time i came back.

Thankfully, I had some good head-fi'ers there that were able to keep him busy, so I didn't have to monitor him 24/7. That said, he is pretty much like any hyper/spoiled kid I've met at that age. His online personality is something else, but that is nothing new.

It's incredible how this annoying yelling cursing british guy has a job here (an important one too I think, head of tech support!). People act like he is normal, or funny or something. 40% of the day he paces around screaming and cursing at relatively calm people, like he is actually getting emotional over tech support. Yesterday another developer and I were trying to look at something and discuss it, he came over to my cube, and started another yelling attention dominating spasm for 20 minutes. I guess it was super important.

But hearing British people say "fuck" is one of the most hilarious things ever.

hey, wasn't like making fun of his british accent alone really... there are a few british people here... It's the easiest way to describe the guys loud voice though. He reminds me of some guy yelling in a pub about a soccer game, but he throws around all these technical words. It's like something out of an SNL sketch, a tech support rugby coach or something.

I had a meeting with him on friday and a few others, he isn't a dickhead or anything I don't think... Yet he really is pretty annoying. It was like that before I go there though,and the guy does have a real important position so I mean it is what it is... It's pretty funny for a little while to hear this guy screaming, but when I'm trying to work on stuff and u hear the nonsense constantly it's really retarded.

Fortunately for me, I sit in a stockroom with one other employee and its pretty quiet down here. I get to play music off of my desktop and get some work done.
