Using my custom tips on the Etys they are about the same which is what I expected. The full ear impressions really don't offer better isolation just a slightly better fit. I guess I could just take the Senn cable you sent me and have it hardwired to my K1000. It would be a shame to not have that nice EA Senn cable to show off in Mayberry. Bascially I'm looking for something that is a lot more flush than the ER4Ps and it looks the Freq's cable comes out at a bit of an angle and that has me curious. My experiment with the IM716 failed (they don't fit me well) and it'll cost me damn near as much to get custom molds made for my Etys.
