May 14, 200818 yr So there I was just replacing the black olives when BAM, there goes the little black tube that the foamies slide on. :rant: :rant: Anyone know if this is something Shure will even replace/repair? Gah! I use these too and from work everyday. Well, the Senn PX100 I ordered will be getting some serious time when it arrives.
May 14, 200818 yr I broke a filter off of my e5c when they were out of warranty and shure replaced them free of charge. They have the best customer service I've ever encountered. I'm sure that they'll replace them. Give them a call and ask for yourself.

I see Skylab and some other guy have pairs on HF for $250 and $265 which are killer deals. I guess I'll call tomorrow and see what's what. The worst thing is now I have nothing for tomorrows commute save iBuds. Oh well, I'll live I'm sure.
May 14, 200818 yr Just so you know thrice, shure will replace any out of warranty pair of their high end headphones for $125 no matter what.
May 14, 200818 yr I don't know how long ago Shure did those free repairs because a friend had a pair of SE420s I think and the cable attachment at the ear piece broke and he was charged for he repair. They were about 6 months out of warranty.
May 14, 200818 yr talk to Sugarfried from HF.. and then rest easy I did and was told that they charge for repairs. The $125 mentioned above is what my friend paid.

May 14, 200818 yr well even if you dont have the receipt, they usually replace it for free if youre still within the two year warranty. (they check the date of manufacture on the plug) When I had my e2c's they had it back in my hands in a week

Too bad the computer companies don't take notes from Shure..
