August 25, 200916 yr This isn't a fun fact for me: Obese People Have 'Severe Brain Degeneration' | LiveScience Edited August 25, 200916 yr by boomana
August 25, 200916 yr I don't know, I initially read the thread title as "another reason for me to get the gun tonight", which makes sense and made me click on the link to find out who boomana wanted to shoot tonight. I was greatly disappointed.
August 25, 200916 yr Author How is chewing gum going to help? I tell ya, it's because my brain is degenerating. My letter recognition skills are kaput. Title fixed.
August 26, 200916 yr I just started dieting today. Its hard planning these things with all the fat stuck in my frontal and temporal lobe. I also heard that THC also likes to bond there. I think, hard to remember these days. What was I saying?
August 27, 200916 yr Vicky, have you found a routine that works for you or are you just kind of winging it? It's important to change things until you find something you ar comfortable with and that gives you results. Also, don't fall into over-training. The body needs time to rest so it can heal. I wouldn't do the same sets/work out same muscle groups every day. Anyway, congrats on all of you for hitting the gym and going for a better diet. Also, DO NOT go by how much weight you lose. This, sadly, goes mostly unheeded by women. Shedding weight does not always equal getting healthier. If you lose one pund of fat, but gain one pound of muscle, you are doing better than the person who lost ten pounds of lean body mass by starving.
August 29, 200916 yr you're not obese though vicky. ... which we should have mentioned earlier, actually.
August 29, 200916 yr Speaking of gym stuff... I think I've overtrained myself recently. That combined with a bit of heat wave, and I'm not feeling as sharp as usual. So yeah, don't overtrain.
