November 21, 200916 yr comment_298399 I've picked up a Duet (again) and would like to start playing around with ripping vinyl. Could one of you chaps who've already been down this road please point me in the direction of some decent software for the Mac to facilitate the process? Workflow tips also welcome! Thanks very much. November 21, 200916 yr comment_298442 Wave Editor for $79 or Peak le for $99. Peak is easier to break up tracks and burn CDs but WE sounds better and has better sample rate conversion and dithering tools. Report

November 21, 200916 yr comment_298465 I have Audacity to record (free) and I am going to try my GEMSound USB A/D this weekend with my Macbook Pro. You could try that. My A/D box came with Soundsoap 2 SE to clean up the pops and crackles if needed, so that might be fun to try too. Don't know if it will muck up the sound or not, or if is even worth the $49 it would cost if it didn't come with the GEMSound for free. I doubt it will sound as good as the Apogee A/D. Report
