headwize and my other sites will be down starting november 26 thru the 28th or 29th due to power shutdown to wire in the power to my new building. Also down december 29 thru january 1 to finish the job.

These are not on the home page this morning, and others mentioned it elsewhere so I'm not the only one missing them. Can they be restored? Thanks in advance...

Since there seems to be a bit of confusion around who qualifies as a Member of the Trade and what they are allowed to post about I've put together a quick little run down. All members of the trade have the exact same posting rights as regular members. They just a custom title stating their company affiliation and are put into the Members of the Trade group. I updated the forum software today from 1.1 RC2 to 1.1 RC3 you will notice that you have been switched back to the default theme. I will re-add the old themes once they are updated for the latest version.

I registered here before newbs were sent it and I'm kind of curious what is says. Would one of you mods send me a copy?

Head-case will be undergoing maintenance starting at ~8PM eastern on Saturday September 23, 2023. This work is expected to take a couple of hours and the site will be in maintenance mode or offline during various parts of the maintenance.

Sorry about the downtime today, according to the data center they were having some power problems with the rack where my server is located. Everything appears to be running fine at the moment. Let me know if you see anything out of the ordinary going on.

Sorry folks - it appears the email notifications on threads, etc stopped working back in December. After an upgrade to the site tonight they are all processing now - so apologies for the spam of notifications.

The update to 4.0.8 didn't go smoothly today, the styling on the bottom section (who's online) etc is currently broken. Working on fixing it now, PM me if you notice anything else wrong.

As the forum software is removing support for their built-in hosted chat feature a new Slack channel has been setup. Seeing some problems with the forum since yesterday. The Condensed view doesn't seem to be working. Everytime I jump into a thread, I start at the beginning. Not a huge deal, but it changed all of a sudden.

You have likely noticed that the email notifications have been broken for quite some time, they are now fixed and working again.

Sorry about the brief outage today guys, had to make some emergency repairs to the database, one of the main tables was corrupting itself. It should be all fixed now.
