  1. I made this Garmin Adventure of my ride yesterday: http://adventures.garmin.com/en-US/by/dreadhead/virb-playing/ Right now it takes a long time to load but I will cull photos from it and the link will stay the same. I have learned that you don't need a photo every 30 seconds of a 3hr plus ride. I'll need to work out how to use this thing on the road. I'm guessing I'll be using the Edge800 remote functionality mostly but I have a lot to learn. Video too: Edit: Updated Adventure and culled a lot of photos.

  3. I went on a fairly hilly road ride Sunday and paced myself to try to keep my heart rate from going too high, but failed at times due to the ridiculous heat and humidity. I think it hit 81F with 89% humidity around 10am... Anyway, since very slow climbs aren't terribly exciting here's two descent videos: Chris: if you have any brake cables that rub against the camera, I suggest wrapping the portion that touches it with helicopter tape. While it doesn't eliminate the noise it does seem reduce it a fair bit in my experience.

  4. Cool Chris! Make sure to have the camera on next time you go around the area with the dogs I was able to go out yesterday for another nice ride. That is it before CWC.

  6. So, my draft was, of course, a fiasco due mostly to my own ineptitude but I also save not a little blame for ESPN.com. At first, I was having trouble with my queue, just getting it to work with the trackpad. Fixed that in the nick of time, but not the queue itself, and then somehow I (and the little monkey, he is not without blame) missed the gigantic DRAFT ME button and couldn't figure out how to pick. So the software autopicks when you run out of time, but then it defaults to Autopick for the very next pick and lo and behold, WE HAD THE VERY NEXT PICK and didn't have time to turn off autopick so we were autofucked. And, thus, 2 QBs with first 2 picks. Makes sense that the Boy and I are Jets fans.

  8. I should have just left it to auto draft. Could not have been any worse.

  9. I haven't heard the GSX so I cannot comment on how it sounds but from the amassed reviews and impressions over on the other site, only 2 users have reported the GSX-MK2 + HD800 pairing sounding bright, but those 2 users don't like the HD800's sound itself anyway. I've owned the HD800's 3 times over the past 3 years, I've tested them on my own built passive, active and balanced b22 builds (currently building another balanced "boutique version" b22 for myself) and few other b22 builds I purchased one for myself and auditioned (built by other owners). They all sounded roughly the same to me being bright with the b22. The b22 sounds great with the LCD2's however, as does the Mojo but it's not surprise the neutrality of the two amp's balance it out with the LCD2's laid back warm sound signature. As with tube rolling and opamp rolling, don't bother with the many idiots on head-fi posting night and day differences with dropping what ever tube fits in the tube socket. Same with opamp rolling, the differences are not big. Stick with one set or nice tubes and stay with it, you don't need to tube roll every single time you listen to one particular genre or choose to listen to one particular headphone.
