One should always max out with any sort of matching program!

The best decision I think I've ever made was to stick with contract work. I work flat hourly. No time and a half, no sick days, no vacation. I get paid for every hour I work, and when I don't work, I don't get paid. If I get called when i'm not at work, and I'm awake, it's a 2 hour minimum. if I'm asleep, it's 4. I'd be hard pressed to take a salaried job that didn't at the very least meet 75% of my average income over the last 3 years, and come with at least 4 weeks of vacation. Salaried tech workers get seriously abused.

TMoney - somebody more or less said it, but I'll second the motion. If you decide to go used, look for a car that's been on the lot for 90 days and a fleet manager who will be straight with you. They'll usually dump a vehicle like that for what they have in it. Some fixable cosmetic flaw can be your friend. My Crown Vic had overspray on the paint. I nabbed it for $7500, paid with a bad check, and $125 worth of Homer the detail man's time later I had a car worth at least $5k more than I paid. I've had it for 10 years. (I did ask in advance about the check and I did make it good. "How do you want pay?" "Would a bad check be ok?" "Sure. No worries." Point being that people can be amazingly cool if you're straight up in negotiations and expect the best. Good timing on this. I also had some negative stuff to say, so on balance, I also want to mention the good. Recently, Sue did a great job with helping me get the fit right after many attempts and some mistakes . She also made it clear that they will get it right no matter what it takes. Good to see the apparent positive impact that Sue and Andy are having.

So a while back I washed my jh13's and one earpiece had a hole so the drivers got wet. Decided I had enough, put them in a draw and forgot about them. A week or so ago, I decided to see if they could be fixed, knowing that they were out of warranty and my fault. I'm figuring that it's going to be somewhere between $150 for a reshell and $500 for replacement drivers and reshell. Got them back today, new drivers on one side and a reshell. I then got an email advising what they did. Nothing about the cost. I assume they did it for free but did ask whether there was a charge. So far nothing. I've some bad experiences in the past with them but I have to say that they went above and beyond and I just thought I should post about the good since I've posted about the bad.

The cat food is key. Great flavor enhancer. One or two pellets per drink is enough. Less is more.

Finally fully recovered after spending Saturday night drinking with Frank (Falkon) and friends. We tasted every single one of these and more... I ended up getting a little sick, but hey, I'm not going to let that detract from an otherwise awesome night.
