Looks really good and seems snappier too. Not a big deal, but is there a setting that would restore the ability to see which users "liked" particular posts etc? Was nice when you made a joke thinking: "Al (or Steve, or whoever) will appreciate this one!" and could then see that they did. Right now it just shows that "(x number of) people liked this", which kinda takes the fun out of it.

I rode from the dam (~9k feet elevation) to the summit of Pikes Peak. Went well, but the last two miles REALLY hurt.

Took the day off to setup the garage and unbox all my bike crap. Also attempted to fix a HVAC vent that had low flow with a booster fan but came away from Home Depot only with an elbow that I hoped would at least help after learning of the wiring complexity. When I went to put in the elbow I realized the idiot installers had attached it to the main trunk with a damper that they left mostly shut. Flows much better now and cost me $6.

Tomorrow starting at approximately 9PM EST I will be performing a major upgrade of the forum software. The new version is a complete rewrite of the forum software from the ground up, so there are many, many changes to it. Due to this the upgrade itself will possibly take several hours during which time the forums will be inaccessible. Once the upgrade is done there are several background tasks that must finish to restore fully functionality of the site. These tasks could take anywhere from 24-48 hours to complete. During that time the following features will be not function correctly: search, attachments, embedded videos, and some images, etc. The tapatalk app and the dark theme will also not be available during that time period. I'll update this thread once the work begins to keep everyone updated on the progress of everything. Thanks Your Friendly Neighborhood Admin

Tapatalk now installed again for those that wish to use it. The regular themes are now responsive and should look much better on mobile devices than the older versions did.

Dark theme added, it's called 'Spectrum', I haven't looked into any of it's settings yet will get to that soon enough.

Good news, the background processes took less time than expected and have all finished running. This means that search, attachments, etc, etc should all be functioning correctly now. I'll look at adding Tapatalk and a dark theme back over the next few days.

damn skippy. i've entered a 'don't give a shit' phase at this job. but having probably logged more hours than anyone else over the last few years here, no one is in a position to do shit. they know it and i know it. i like that.
