Here is my Carbon build. The layout is a lot like the KGSShv Cube I made in 2014 although this is bigger and easier to assemble. I have dubbed it the “Chunky”. I have two versions, a black/silver and an all silver and am building two of each. The Chunky measures 340 wide X 310 deep x 138 high, plus feet and weighs about 10 kg. As I wish to concentrate on other projects I do not intend to make more amplifiers for other people. I am intending to do a KGBH for myself. I have enjoyed the challenge over the last few years and have also met some great fellow head-cases. The KGSShv/KGST/Carbon KG designs I have built have all worked as intended and been easy to set up and all have given great musical pleasure. This is a sign of a great designer and I would like to note again my gratitude for the great gift given to this hobby by Kevin and Birgir, Kerry, Joamat, Jim L and all the others for their contributions and inspiration.

The transformer is on a M6 bolt but in case you are wondering is supported at the front by a 6mm thick acrylic piece bolted to a bracket on the base. You should be able to see it in the internal shot.

there are millions of these phones out there. Batteries have issues when mistreated. People mistreat them. Don't stress it. Pick the phone that seems like the best fit for you, and then when it becomes time to replace it, replace it.

Or, what I have done may times to find issues or faulty parts, is measure resistance at various parts of the circuit between the good and bad boards - not the most accurate and sometimes the values fluctuate at certain parts of the circuit, but differences here can point to the culprit fairly quickly.

Buy it today and if the other phone works out, return it. It's an OK phone at normal price, it's a great deal at this price. I think the iPhone 5s battery replacement cost will be 79$ at an Apple Store, unless it's still covered under Apple Care. I can always find you a deal, but the Moto X is the best thing out there at the moment, though the OnePlus 2 is probably worth the 300$ normal price, even with its quirks. **BRENT**

If you can post a photo of good resolution of the faulty board it will help spot if something looks suspicious.

I'd suggest trying them on a Cmoy to see if a superior amplifier might help.

It was very entertaining. I liked Lewis driving and cleverness trying to have Ricciardo taking over his team mate. Not that the team was loving that idea though Excellent result for McLaren and Fernando Alonso, now they just have 3 teams ahead I wish they keep that fourth place as a team in the future, and this is a hint of 2017 season.
