Marc sent me a really nice piece of figured walnut to turn into record player parts. Part is going to be 1.35” thick but board was 2.5”. Seemed to be a waste to machine/plane it down to the correct thickness. Nice finally having the right tools for the job.

Still need to run them rough the sander. Goal was to have them be 1/32 when finished. I’m sure I could go thinner but wanted to err on being thicker until I’m really good at resawing them.

A look at Sebdti's finished Carbon boards - Seb wanted to mount these flat against the heatsink so the L-brackets in the pic are just to help position the transistors precisely and protect during transport. Here is one of my own Carbon boards set for horizontal mounting (Joachim, the DN2540's are mounted underneath the PCB ) Also the completed PSU. Yeah, I think he's one that you either really like, or really don't. I've never been captivated by his stuff, but I can certainly understand why others would be. It's more to do with genre for me. I like really boring shit. I don't have any comments about his personal life, because before your post I hadn't heard anything about it.

Service is done on the truck. Replicated all the problems and confirmed Chrysler knows about them and has no idea how to fix them so just “turn those features off”. Car wash is also broken so they are not even washing it before giving me this piece of shit back. Top notch auto brand for sure.
