Okay, this made waves five years ago, but I've only recently heard. Its not perfect and certainly has it's own bias (which shows increasingly near end), but is amazingly successful on accomplishing a nearly impossible task - sympathetically setting the social context on why people would join the Peoples Temple and follow Jim Jones to Guyana and the Kool-Aid. It might just be the most compassionate series I've ever heard and even in the prologue you sense it's the podcast you didn't know you needed. Well, I did some reading and my birthday is coming up so Claire said we should go for the Piston Pro X. It's sweet. We have fenders and tail lights so I have to add extra straps just as belt and suspenders safety. It seems tight and stable without them but I used rubber coated giant twist ties that Steve used in his truck so I didn't need to buy $40 worth of Küat "fender kits" aka four velco straps. One drawback is that the car considers this to be a trailer and defeats a bunch of features that would be missed on long drives. I'm going to figure out if there is a way to work around that.

I think season 2 is better than 1...It could be the addition of a new writer...MY SISTER!...

RIP to my beautiful wife Karen Greenfield. She passed peacefully overnight, after we all said our goodbyes, as well as having other family and some friends talk to her on speakerphone as well. Thank you all for your compassion and kind words, and for letting me vent. Our son Andrew and I will of course go on, but there is already an ache I have, reflected in a large and emptier house. Please raise a glass at some point for her and our family, and think kindly on a wonderful and beautiful woman.
