  1. Jut got a polite letter explaining why I did not get a job I was interviewed last week. I suppose it's a fair price to pay for people like me who hate loosing and are more curious than realy interested. I'm so thankfull for being able to afford this kind of shit... Amicalement
  2. Like I said, Mikhail Rotenberg, the newest Canada Post airplane technician, has finally ended his upgrade to the only airplane going in your area..... Amicalement
  3. Being a possible customer from the other side of the border, I'm wondering if all these missing hits are the result of too much business for a little entreprise with not enough people to process the growing demand or these guys are taking their customers for granted... Amicalement
  4. Bonjour TheSloth, In what kind of barbaric city do you live.... Joking aside, your climate is so much better for the ones loose in the streets. Interesting to see that kind of cultural difference since it seems that in general you adopt informally these free cats by feeding them. I can see why this is not a priority to create animal shelters. Here in North America we forget too often that our animal shelters are a last 30 days delay before mass euthanasia. I dont know you at all but despite your lack of experience with cats the fact that you are thinking about getting ''kitty furniture'' for a street cat showed that you have an interesting potential as a pet owner. 5. On that note, I would suggest that if you have problems in the near future please dont let him loose in the street. Go to an animal shelter. I planned this over our latest rescued cat and got cought finally loving, and keeping, the dam beast.... Amicalement
  6. Gay vampires are facing similar challenges as us mortals. They have to choose between: portable, transportable and desktop size. But please dont ask about the ''balanced'' option..... Amicalement
  7. Something sounds not quite right.... Amicalement
  8. There's always a solution to every problem... Amicalement
  9. I never sell to buy something. Way too much risky operation. In clear I dont have to possibly regret the missing gear and probably feel uneasy pressure about the new toy performance..... Amicalement
  10. There's another proof that track pads can suck the life out of any man.... Amicalement
  11. I was planning to by a Bell & Ross but instead I bought a pair of these: http://www.rouillard.ca/index.php?id=96&model=47&family=15&category=0&L=2 Few weeks of waiting but WOW.... Amicalement
  12. A girl, black & white....hummm....that's pretty obvious.... Chanel? Amicalement
  13. We have an official member of our top 3 ''2009 Best pic award'' right here. Amicalement
  14. I had some similar experiences with the pill thing. Since my relation with the ''new emperor'' was fragile ( an homless cat ) I have decided, if this wrestling with my cat comes again on my agenda, this will no longer be something I'll do myself. There's many excellent vet. technicians who can and will do this for a small fee. Amicalement
  15. McCoy Tyner trio. Mister Tyner was in town for the first time and despite the fact that we can only hope that he will keep doing the touring scene as long he will want to, I think it's was the last time we saw him on stage. He still has much to offer on top of being a jazz legend in action. What a nice evening it was. Amicalement
  16. Those bastards!!!!! if only they knew that my initial exam was quite clear: I have parasites.... Amicalement PS "I think technology may have some benefits for a smart brain, but no capacity to produce compassion" The Dalai Lama (2009 Vancouver Peace Summit)
  17. Yep the medical law expert is now waiting for a medical exam result to be analysed by some unknown (to me) brilliant ''med guy'' who will possibly tell me that I'm no longer immortal... Amicalement PS: Fuck that shit I'll have plenty of time to see McCoy Tyner tonight before I die.
  18. ''But you're a martyr for even less...'' I used to move around until I found a good place during shows. Now unless there's a seat with my name on it I wont go. I'm beginning to act like Elvis about this. Glad for the music part. Up here the Montreal show was sold out from the start... Amicalement
  19. Since we are speaking about a MacBook Pro drive upgrade. Do some of you have experienced those SSD in the MBP line? The info I have right now is that (since the $ involve is no longer a major problem around 120GB) Apple is strangely enough avoiding the best of them (the SSD Intel line ). Amicalement
  20. Michel Petrucciani A reminder that life can be both nice and unfair... Amicalement
  21. Yep the first time it's so easy. The surprise element will be on his side from now on... Mine had this for me for the second round: Amicalement
  22. The ''operations'' were done last friday. I tried to alleviate my guilt by providing (A) the best feline hospital setting and ( accepting their offering of a special post-op treatment that made the life of the cat as easy it can be. After a 3 days period I had to face the task of giving the medication myself for another 4 days. Seeing how the cat behave I think I'll keep the medication reference for myself.... (The part where I push the pill in back of the cat's throat is an interesting experience...) After investing almost $1000. for an healthy street cat (OK 50% of this amount is a one in a lifetime medical event) I made the decision to protect our new guy from bad surprises and us as well. Why Petsecure? I looked around before asking the vet for an age evaluation (it's the insurance starting point for every inquiries) and they were looking pretty serious on their website. Few days later when I got the age evaluation (1.5 year old) they were also the first service my vet was pointing to before I mentioned my interest openly in Petsecure. BTW the level 4 was and still is a financial joke. Level 1 and maybe 2 are the way to go if you want an adequate protection and want to keep alive your interest in headphones... Bad news but in such a young fellow the medical outcome can only be good. Amicalement PS Hold on to someting: Merlin's dentist recommended that we brush his teeth on a daily basis.
