Etymotic and the utter failure of the new foam tips
Nate, I have a new package of medium size T-100 Complys that might fit Etys, if they will do you any good. Jeff at Comply sent me these for my Shures by mistake. I use larges. For me, the Complys have consistently sounded good and while they don't last for ever the mode of failure is that they don't sound as good, as opposed to self-destructing in your ear. Update: I just looked on Comply's site and it does look like the T-100s will fit your phones. Let me know if you want these.

Given the governor's race, one might be a good idea.

Bonnie sez one-color t-shirts in the quantities we're talking about (if indeed we are) should cost about $8 a unit.

Have you got any suggestions?
I had a fellow named Butt working for me at one time. Great lab tech. He moved on to Hollywood. And changed his name. It's been years ago now. From time to time I look in the IMDB (for the new name) but I don't see it. Maybe one day he'll turn up on Facebook or something.

Bonnie and me. Others of the usual crew. I'm going out on a limb here and will assume that only CJ is subjecting himself to the Spirit experience.

Grahame, Al - Our peeps in Orlando allow two hours downtown to downtown to go to Tampa, so 1.5 hours airport to airport sounds reasonable. Wayne - if you do rocket over to this side, please be sure to call. I can ask Bonnie of she knows somewhere we could get a short-run t-shirt for cheaps. Anybody have a design in mind? Side trip to that kick-ass record store Matt took us to last time, maybe?

Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that we're getting more of these since the software change at HF?

So maybe common sense isn't quite out of fashion after all.

Frends Headphones
Hmmm. Sounds like an inside job to me. Do we know Al's whereabouts on the night of the crime? But the woman in the "naked girl" ad looks nice.

Shure SE-425 compared to the SE-420
Naw, for break in it's gotta be latin disco. That's a must. Richard Cheese was a reference. It's all about the intellectual and emotional connection with the music, you see.

Shure SE-425 compared to the SE-420
Some stuff doesn't seem to change much at all and some stuff does. Beats me why. In this case, I had the broadly similar 420s at hand, so the relative change over time, one against the other, was obvious. I never have bought the 'getting used to it' theory. That was controled out here in any case.

Shure SE-425 compared to the SE-420
I made a long and detailed post elsewhere. The high points are: The new model is moar better. More extended on top, better detail throughout the band, better background (or microdynamics), removable cable and nicer physical design. They need a crapload of break in - a couple hundred hours at least - and as they break in, they may actually sound worse than straight out of the box. I used a Richard Cheese album as an audio reference. I was a hopeless fanboy for the 420, so if you don't like the 420, don't listen to me. Shure SE-420 vs SE-425 (long) - Head-Fi.org Community

Is this possible ? Or just another snake oil ?
"Some people seek divinity, but most of us just want more bass.", as my friend Alan says. This could be cool for movies, but how many sound engineers are likely to incorporate 11 Hz effects in their soundtracks?
