Very cool looking. I'll have to decide if I want to leave my old laptop running. Part of the reason I got a NAS was so I wouldn' t have to run my laptop to do stuff like this. I'm mostly happy with eLyric, but far from thrilled.

Can J River control the music on my Synology NAS directly without a computer running, if my NAS is DLNA compliant?

I feel like sometimes I can hear the difference among filters, and sometimes I cannot. In the end, though, I always end up settling on the apodizing filter, so maybe there is something there, who knows?

Well, I certainly am in favor of supporting the little guy, esp if that little guy is also a really good guy. And if he can beat or at least compete with the usual prices, well, all the better!

Funny. Our upstairs toilet is currently in the kids' bedroom while the bathroom is being redone. We told the kids VERY clearly NOT to use it, it doesn't work right now! They said, 'I know, I know!' Yeah, right. I could easily see my son trying it out right about now.

Volcano to go with my Arête. Really like the Arête so far ... very clean, detailed, great mids, but could be a bit more dynamic and could use a bit more bass. I'll wonder what the Volcano would do until I get it. Plus, I sold off a bunch of stuff! Todd laughed ... 'Already?! That was fast!' He really is a good guy to work with. Makes you feel good about buying from him.

Hi, Julie! She's lovely, CJ! Me- Drove back from Cleveland. Steve and Mike were right, no bathroom. Oh well, I can see how much they've done, though. The pipes and electric underneath were pretty much shot, so they redid all the plumbing and wiring before getting into the rest.
