It looks like the deal might die soon, if it hasn't already been killed. It hit slickdeals and there are already multiple ebay auctions for the code

Cookware - questions, comments and information about cookware
I honestly had no idea they were that cheap! It's good to know it doesn't make much of a difference, but I'll take your advice and see what I can find in the thrift stores. Is there anything in particular I should watch out for? Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate the info.

Cookware - questions, comments and information about cookware
I'm looking to replace my Costco special pan that's starting to lose it's non-stick properties. Should I go for the All-clad linked in this thread or is there some sort of affordable cast-iron option that I might have missed? I did a search on the forums and wasn't able to find too much info.

Silencing coil whine
I'm thinking of potting mainly because it seems that this is a common issue with this model (and it seems other chargers have the same or similar issues...ticking or whining) but it's also annoying that they're sold out everywhere. It took nearly three weeks to get this one, so I'm reluctant to hope for a replacement in a reasonable timeframe. Thanks Ari for the tip, I'll give that stuff a try.

Silencing coil whine
I recently picked up a wireless charger for my phone that works well aside from the annoying inductor whine. I was thinking of dropping some hot glue on it to dampen the noise, but thought maybe folks here might have a better suggestion of what to use. Any suggestions on a better damping material than hot glue? Thanks

And now what did you do TODAY?
Hah! Nope, no steroids here! Just been out of shape and got with a trainer that's put me on a fairly straightforward nutrition plan and a good workout routine.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Good luck CJ! Yesterday I got my body fat measured as a progress check and I've shed 5% of my body fat and have kept my weight the same. Pretty pleased with my progress in four weeks

I like the aggressive pricing without contract and since I still have a year to go on my current phone it's rather tempting.

Muses 01 ... anyone heard of these?
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/MUSES01/MUSES01-ND/2202385?cur=USD $50 a pop for those opamps Interesting, the Essence One supports simultaneous output on the headphone and speaker. That'd be nice along with the actual volume knobs. Might have to give the non Muses version a look over

Amazon Kindle
I got the Paperwhite last week and I like it quite a bit. Lighting isn't perfect in terms of color and evenness, but overall it works as a fairly even light for the Kindle. The increased resolution and higher processor power are definitely noticable, with menu changes happening a snappier and the load time to refresh the book listings after loading a large number of books onto the device via Calibre is noticeably quicker. I think the only thing that it's missing for me are the custom screensaver and custom collections (via Calibre) I had added to my previous kindle via jailbreak. They've had progress on that end so it's only a matter of time; I think they have a jailbreak, but they're still working on the recovery...I don't like jailbreaking without recourse in the event of a failure.
