Damn, even condoms were cooler in the past. https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/press/press-releases/rijksmuseum-exhibits-200-year-old-condom-featuring-erotic-print -
As others have reported, a bit of a heat wave here yesterday. What better time to stand in the sun and eat funnel cakes at a county fair (elephant ears were sadly out of stock - damn you West Coast)? In a sign of the times, about half the animals on display as normal due to the bird flu. As a stabilizing influence, every band still knowns Tom Petty. if you’re curious about the disadvantages of using an old lens without modern coatings…

I'm not sure this was ever mentioned (search comes up empty) and it kind of came and went without substantial buzz outside the LGBTQ+ community, but Gentleman Jack (Max),from way back in Covid Daze, is worth a watch. Props for not always going the pleasing route. Criticism for occasionally going the ridiculous direction.

Good to see audio gear still outranks practical realities like space.

Not many weeks I feel we're further away from WWIII, but that great North Korean destroyer launch (aka "the beached whale") last week did it. Ouch. korea.mp4

Had the day off yesterday (company has "wellbeing days" the last couple of years - thanks Covid!), so went to Stanford's Cantor and Anderson museums. Chuckled at this Tony Oursler animated sculpture-projection which seemingly judged you as you judged other works.

^ Keep posting! The most hated camera of 2025 will be released tomorrow. Sounds kinda fun. Too bad about the $150 Orange Tax. -
I listened to that album before going to sleep every night for probably 5 months.

“Wendt showed up as Norm over the years on St. Elsewhere, Wings, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Frasier and The Tortellis and as himself on Seinfeld and The Larry Sanders Show. He also had recurring roles on The Naked Truth and Sabrina the Teenage Witch and guest-starred on other series like Alice, Soap, Hart to Hart, Becker, Hot in Cleveland, Columbo, Harry’s Law, Fresh Off the Boat and The Goldbergs.“ That’s pretty impressive. Also in Hairspray on Broadway.

Yep and more. Love the subverting.

Up for audiophile versions of those too.
