Geez, this really wasn't about killing your friends, or killing anybody for that matter. I saw it merely as social commentary about the illegal immigration issue, which has become a real problem in the US in my opinion, and that millions of other Americans of every race, creed, color, and/or political persuasion. Yet, even with respect to that issue, this particular comment was more of a "rolling of the eyes" than anything. I didn't find it particularly zenophobic and I know well it's like to live in a country that I'm not from originally.

Read it again. It doesn't say anything about "look like" and doesn't even suggest racial profiling. It says they are going to kill "anyone who is a legal U.S. citizen." So no worries. Your relatives and friends will be Ok. What's not humorous is 13 million illegal aliens in the U.S., and a high concentration of them are in the L.A. area, Phoenix, Miami, etc. It's not even a political statement because the responsibility lies with both parties, neither of which has done much to get the situation under control.

Rumors are circulating in California that radical Muslims are planning to go on a rampage in Los Angeles, killing anyone who is a legal U.S. citizen. Police fear the death toll could be as high as 12.

Didn't realize that you could do that -- put a "hold" on a card. Makes good sense that this is an option. I'll have to keep that in mind. I've faced a similar situations from time to time, as I'm sure we all have. Freaky when you can't find a wallet.

I recommend that you stick with pastels. You look especially good in mauve.

He's in uniform on the bench tonight watching the game. Just unreal that he didn't get seriously injured. I think what saved him was that his head was at a pretty good angle relative to the direction the ball was travelling at, so it was more of a glancing blow than it appeared to be. I was thinking it would be really bad because the ball travelled half way down the right field line. No! It would have been really bad if the ball had dropped right in front of him!
