Made trip #2 to empty a storage unit for my dad. Good and bad news: Bad - he needed my help, he has had 2 hip surgeries but now has an inner ear "thing" and needs a walker for balance. Was pretty tough to see, but he is quite the trooper Good - what I was cleaning out was about 24 boxes of LP's and acetates....I'll try and see what's there (some are pretty fucking dusty/dirty, and some of the older acetates have broken) Bad - Karen (who is up in our Maine condo, I'll join her Saturday) is gonna be pissed at all these boxes in our dining room Good - there may be a couple store owners or contacts interested in the lot Bad - the condition of many of these is not what I was hoping But, unit 578 is clear, and he won't have to spend $400 for the next lease/payment.....- Nate's Cycling Fundraising Adventure - 2020 COVID Edition - Fundraiser

Up in Maine at the condo, took a nice little ride in Kennebunkport for lunch, then around a few nearby sites. Water picture is Cape Porpoise Maine, and two sunset pics are in our condo complex, taken by Karen earlier this week.- RIP someone or another
RIP.... My son's guitar teacher had played with Segovia (not on any big stage); and while he idolized him, he also had mentioned Bream as the "next generation's leader" - pretty sure those were his words.....- What are you listening to Part the Third

I used to own that exact Legacy Classic speaker model (same finish too). Miss them....when I got engaged, my wife got a nice ring and I got these! I love my wife! 😊 We eventually redesigned our family room, though, and couldn't keep these.... Still love my wife 😃- What are you listening to Part the Third
Saw a touching FB post from a friend, using a atmospheric nice song as the soundtrack. Found it as Andrea Marie, song The Truth About The World on the album Low. Another album that she came out with the same year (likely Low written longer ago) is VERY different, and not much like Low. But I listened to Low and liked it.- What are you listening to Part the Third
Bit of a Folk/Indie kick....really like the Samantha Crain album.....- ATC speakers
They're a pretty reputable company, Shelly. A couple solid steps above DIY, but they've been doing it for several years (if not longer). They've had some decent designs on the Hypex modules, and now Purifi. The NC ranges are all Hypex nCore, with different modules or levels of extras/quality. The Purifi uses the Purifi modules. They also have one amp that uses the Stereo ICEEdge module, used to be B&O but is new (and better then the older ICEPower modules). I actually have a tweaked out EVS dual-mono ICEEdge amp I'm selling too (a measly 600wpc 8ohms/1200 into 4). But of all, my personal preference would probably be the Purifi amp modules. I don't think Nord did as much to tweak the input stage as my all-in-one builder has; and if Ric Shultz @ EVS decides to build an amp using the Purifi module, he'll tweak it for best sound too. - Speaker Porn
