I forgot to mention, a couple months ago I recommended Birgir's bakery to a work vendor acquaintance who was visiting. She didn't get to meet the Viking Legend, but did make it to the bakery and gave it very high marks And she made it back without any volcanic ash.

I agree with the shot-blocking; their defense has played above their potential. As a fan of a "system-oriented" defensive structure with the Bruins, I think that goes a long way. Mike Sullivan influence for sure I'd say. Offensive depth is another area to go along with that speed. When Kessel and Hagelin are on your 3rd line, you have some amazing depth; and both are fast skaters & quick shooters. Good moves by the GM. And last I think is goaltending. They struck a hot goalie in Murray. Since the first cup he won, Fleury seemed to be a bit of a choker. I don;t blame him for the loss he had when he filled in; he came in cold off an injury. But he has not been the hot goalie that gets it done post-season, and Murray has been closer to that. Sadly for SJ and fans like me, this is a team that was put together well, and got a quality injection of good coaching mid-season. They became hot, some played to their potential and others played likely above. I have a grudging respect for them....but I still don't like them so much, especially with hypocritical and whiny Mario at the helm.

Not happy with this series.....really want ex-Bruin Jumbo Joe to lift the cup......

RIP Kimbo Slice, died of supposed heart failure. Provided some excitement in MMA, but ultimately proved he didn't belong amongst the best. Still, his story was a good one, a bit of rags to riches.....

Yeah, I think Mike Sullivan did a great job in coaching the team to come out hard and fast. Certainly was not boring hockey in any way. That 3rd line for the Pens is a killer, though. Bonino playing so well, and if your third line features Phil Kessel (playing his best playoff hockey ever) as well you have some great depth. That may be the thing that makes it hardest for SJ. Go Sharks!

Meh....Penguins won. Several people on a Bruins forum think that SJ will have an easy time. I don't necessarily think that, but hope that the Sharks can expose the sometimes-weak Pittsburgh D. Penguins role players coming through for them as well, great depth this year at forward; something they hadn't had a lot with big contracts going to Crosby and Malkin. So they do make me nervous, but they can be beat. Go Sharks!!!!!
