I made a rack very much like this many years back, with white top laminated MDF shelves. I added plastic washers so the nuts wouldn't mark the shelves as badly. I also only used 3 rods, as I liked the tripod balancing (and less holes to drill); even though the back rod would in theory be in the way of the wires, it wasn't bad at all. I did end up putting foam pipe wraps around the back rod, though, so wires wouldn't rub and scratch on the threading. All in all, was not that difficult to do! Gave it away when I moved to our new house, but often thought about making another......

Lots of chatter on this at H-F, haven't read much though. Did briefly hear it at a NH met last December. Good for the $ IMO, but I think I'd prefer the Chord Mojo for a bit more (I use the Mojo at work)

I got in to our High School right when voting opened, still a decent backlog (they delayed school one hour, good plan). Got through quickly though. At the local level, we had voting on 2 single positions and one with a list of names for a group: one of the single positions had NO candidate on the ballot, the other only one. If you wanted to vote for the first, you would have to write-in. I'd hate to have to count that one.....

Jury Duty today. I and about 25 others sat for a bit, waiting for cases to go to trial (or not). We got called in for a DUI Criminal case. 7 of us were chosen, the rest went back to wait. Eventually, we were told all other cases settled outside of trials, so we got released. Happy to serve, the last time I got impaneled and was a juror for a civil case. Quite fascinating, and I truly feel I'm doing good. This time....read a lot. But now, I'm off for 3+ years again....

Bit of a bump. Now have two Intona USB Isolators, work well in both systems (one headphone-, one speaker-based). USB Regen, Audioquest Jitterbug, & iFi iPurifier 2 off-line for now, and a Wyrd 4 Sound Recover goes between my PC and Auralic Gemini Amp/DAC. All made noticable improvements. Still haven't played around with piggybacking multiple products together. John, any updates on yours, or did it become superfluous with your Melco? Curious....

^^^ Some of that can be deductable. And, can/do you do a Childcare pre-tax Spending Account? For me, ready for taxes as well. Had to pay a boatload in ES-1 payments because I'm a contractor now without a 401K and can't do any kind of pre-tax (or fuck, post-tax Roth) IRA.
