I wasn't into the DT880 sound, but I'm definitely interested in hearing these.

Christopher Parkening / Elmer Bernstein - Concerto for Guitar Redbook I had no idea this existed before yesterday. A surprisingly good concerto for guitar. Parkening has been at my top spot since Segovia passed, so it's all win if you're into this kind of thing.

I like the GS-1000s a lot. I bought them when they first came out. They have a colored, romantic sound that gives life and energy to the music. That being said, they are very unique sounding, and I can see how some really don't like them. They can sound horrid in the wrong system or on a recording with nasty highs. With tubes and vinyl the GS-1000 is in it's prime. They fall under the "must listen to first" category without a doubt. I look forward to your impressions of the PS-1000.

Pretty much how I felt. They have a very synthetic sound with very unpleasant highs. And this is coming from a GS-1000 owner That being said, some seemed to like them, so what do I know.

I'll be getting it for PC. I'm not into consoles but I may have to give in one of these days. COD4 will live on it looks like unless they patch the PC version later of mw2. 9 vs 9 only is almost a waste.
