Never mind, I figured it out. I'm really liking the touch and as a computer-as-source iTunes user, Remote is fantastic.

Except I live in Northeast.

Just picked up a 32gb iPod Touch and placed an order for a SwitchEasy case.

So it appears my Comcast service is slower than everyone else's.

Dang, that's twice as fast (both down and up) as what I'm getting here from Comcast

On a similar topic, can a Touch or iPhone display Japanese on Safari? I'm strongly considering getting a Touch soon.

I really wish I had options aside from Comcast, too. I really miss FiOS and if it ever comes to my neck of woods, I'm dropping Comcast in a second. Unless things have gotten noticeably better in the last couple of years, I'd avoid satellite - any and all increment weather disrupted the service for my folks when they used to have a satellite service.

Went to work, came home and cooked dinner. Then went to, along with my neighbors, the first of many public hearings in hope of keeping our quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood as it is.
