I took Xavier on his first trail ride today. 2 hours total, 4 miles, lots of mud, but the driest it has been in a month. A couple tricky sections, but he handled himself like a champ, and only one big wipeout for him. We walked a bit of the really rooty sections, and the 29er wheels roll a good bit better than the 20" ones. So proud today! **BRENT**

New Magic Lantern Improvement Adds 3 Stops of Dynamic Range to 5DIII and 7D Some interesting stuff for a couple of cameras that have "Dual ISO" processors, I believe. I have a buddy who is geeking out about it and thinking about putting ML on his 5D3. You shoot half the lines in ISO100, half in ISO1600 (at the same time), and it makes a composite which can be nice. Each of these cams can do it with stills, but the 5D3 can do it with video as well. I remember putting ice in the garbage disposal when we had one growing up to kind of "clean it out." I would imagine small chunks/slivers of ice would be able to scrape off some of the remaining residue (perhaps along with some dish soap), then wash normally. Or maybe it wouldn't, but I'm interested to know what would work, for some reason. **BRENT**
