Ah, I had my doubts on this one. I have never heard a Corda that delivered real, impressive performance. Nothing wrong with any of them (except the brightness of some), but nothing really great either.

Hmm, so a question. What happens if you put a resistor in parallel or series with your headphone cable?

I feel kind of funny whenever I think of the RS-1. I heard them a long time ago and loved them greatly. But whenever I tell my friends that I like the RS-1, they all look at me funny like I'm deaf and absolutely out of my mind. To most, they just can't bear to hear anything that isn't "neutral" or doesn't have that "big soundstage". Heck, I'm embarrassed to say that I prefer musicality/fun over neutrality/realism in public with my real-life audiophile friends. Meh, I find it kind of comforting that many people here likes the RS-1, HP-2, and PS-1 so much. It feels good to know that I have friends/acquaintances who like to have fun while listening to music too! Time to pick up a RS-1 sometime in the future.

Stephen, are you building the 6 channel balanced or the 4 channel balanced?
