No, I'm wrong, it's the INCRA TS-LS Table Saw Fence System. It really is an incredibly accurate system.

You don't know Doug very well. He needs his cuts to be accurate to the micron. When Doug makes coffee in the morning (2:00 pm), he weighs the beans, grinds the beans, then weighs the grind. If those numbers don't match, leave immediately because it's going to be a bad day. Seriously though, Doug makes some of the most precise joints I've ever encountered. And the fence he has is the most accurate and adjustable tool you'll find. I would absolutely have one if I had a shop size table saw.

IT'S BACK! I remember it being big, but I forgot how massive it is. In no way is it going to fit on the TT stand I just built. I've also forgotten the layout of the controls on the speed controller, and which is input and output on the DIY Pass Pearl phono stage. Lots of fiddling to do before I'm near ready to fire up the beast, but it feels good to have her home again. It was 12 years ago that I built her. I need to see if I can get the Zu Audio DL 103 aluminum bodied cartridge repaired. I had broken the cantilever some years back. I also need to source a rubber belt for the motor/platter. Damn this thing is big!

The larger of the two included cases is large enough to fit a couple of iPod Classics. For old guys like me that still think of them as current technology. I like to have multi-gig music choices.

So my Etymotic ER4XR IEM's arrived today. Listening now and they sound great. Glad I went with the XR edition. Best bass I've heard out of Etymotics, but not at all bloated. Still a bit bass shy IMO, but much better than the S or P versions. The aluminum housings also just give a more quality feel. Great bargain!

I live in California, where when we think we may have gone too far, we go a little further. I did my 40 years of winters. Done with snow.

Beautiful! I hearby proclaim this wood Tap Maple. There is also Spalted Maple. Similar, but caused purely by fungus. Ambrosia Maple is also caused by fungus, but it's the Ambrosia beetle that invites the fungus ( as does the tapping in Tap Maple ).

Home theater, I'm sure.

If you look closely, about an inch and a quarter from the left edges, you can even spot the Ambrosia beetle tunnels.

I don't know how handy you are, but if memory serves Ikea has similar legs for sale. Some 1/2" Baltic birch plywood, a sheet of Black laminate and you can create a very nice desk built to your specifications.

Not actually cooking, but making tuna salad. I like my tuna salad loaded. Red Bell Pepper, Onion, Heirloom Tomatoes, Pickles, but not just any pickles will do, Kalamata Olives, Crumbled Bacon, Albacore Tuna and Ciabatta Buns. When I'm ready to serve I slice some Avocado, then add some French Fried Onions. Yes, I'll be cleaning my countertops!

Marc is 76 years old today, but doesn't look a day over 45. That could have something to do with his head always shrouded in pipe smoke. I've been inches away, but never had a clear view. Or possibly it's his career that keeps him looking younger. He's a towel boy at a posh country club, and the constant steam must be the answer ( I realize that some of you think he's involved with software, but that's just his cover story ). Hatchbacks, I don't know about hatchbacks. I like hatchbacks, Joe wanted to ban hatchbacks. For 8 years Joe tried to ban hatchbacks. I stopped that. The country loves hatchbacks, but Joe tried to ban them. Now we have the greatest hatchbacks ever, that's because I stepped in and stopped it. I designed new hatchbacks myself. Some people think that was Ford and Chevrolet, but it was me. I made the greatest hatchbacks the world has ever seen. Joe wanted to ban hatchbacks, but I stopped that.
