  2. hey now, the bacon and eggs were organic and free-range, plus the bacon was uncured. and i love meat, just had a super tasty and juicy ribeye for lunch, and i certainly, love good bbq. i might be able to swing out to the village on July 7 or 8th. maybe, sometime, we can all make it to my favorite bbq place, which is on crenshaw blvd.

  4. Hey everyone, thanks for the wonderful birthday wishes! The day has been great so far and I am looking forward to dinner at Ruth's Chris with my wife and my dad and his wife. not really, but it doesn't matter as i am not a big cake person. i am, however, dying to have a slice or two of my father's fresh homemade apple pie. yes, i do have a good amount of cheat meals --
  5. i've heard propofol is a good sleep aid.
  6. dry aged ribeye, organic bacon and organic raw almonds
  7. and i had been under the impression that your liquor pantry housed everything.
  8. Without question, you are spot on and I should have explicitly stated mercury testing, yet most independent third party labs, if not all, test for mercury when testing fish oil among other things. Also, a lot of fish oil out there is molecularly distilled and after that process is at or near pharmaceutical grade levels. The Carlson fish oil that I take is tested in accordance with AOAC international protocols by an FDA-registered lab to ensure freshness, potency, and free of detrimental levels of mercury, cadmium, PCB's and 28 other contaminants. Besides Carlson, the other brands I like are Dr. Sears Zone Omega Rx, which has the highest EPA and DHA, though, it's very expensive and doesn't taste great and Ascenta NurtraSea, which is very similar to Carlson, but more expensive. In fact, I wouldn't buy a fish oil that wasn't third party tested. Plus the ones I mentioned use small cold water fatty fish such as sardines, anchovies, mackerel, and herring, but larger fish from the ocean or fish farms are more likely to contain toxin levels of mercury or pesticides. I am more concerned and limit eating sushi, fresh water fish and long living large ocean fish such as, but not limited to salmon, tuna, swordfish, and sharks because of the high mercury content and other contaminants.
  9. Cinema: ArcLight Movie: SUPER 8 Date: Fri Jun 10, 2011
  10. a few things to consider when buying fish oil... EPA (potency) DHA (potency) Independent third party testing (purity) Price (value) I buy my stuff here. The Carlson's 500ml bottle that I take has an EPA of 800 and DHA of 500, 100 servings per container, and it's only $21.56. It really tastes just like lemon flavored oil with no fishy taste, aftertaste or fishy burps. I usually take five to nine teaspoons per day. Your fish oil gel caps likely has some additive that refrigeration might cause the oil to harden up or the gel caps and might inhibit your body's ability to absorb it as much and easily as possible.
