http://lowther-america.com/page22/page22.html Jon is great. Use him as a refence and for info, incredibly nice and giving of all things Lowther. I am of the opinion as others are that he knows more about Lowther drivers than even Lowther uk themselves. Edit: oh you might want to consider the dx65. Jon thinks very highly of it and believes it is the first 5" to match what the 8" drivers offer but with the better high frequency response and dispersion characteristics that the bigger drivers can't offer...

Lowther dx4 is a very nice driver, though my dx45 driver being a 5" has a nicer treble response (wink wink). And yes I can attest to the first watt series especially the F1 being the perfect mate to lowthers, and with your DIY chops could make one very reasonably.

The amount of "love", or lack thereof, is commensurate with the amount of love most people give to $2-3000 + amps in general. Design and circuit wise though the BA is without parallel in the Craig Uthus pantheon of amps. -

I am excited to check them out. For some reason they did not wow me at canjam. Maybe I had other things on my mind. I'll e able to chime in vs the jh13 once the jvlgato set makes it's rounds to me.

Is there such a thing as a 1/8 to 1/8 mini headphone adaptor?

Pm sent. Elnero = hero. -
Basically I cannot use my jh13's with the case on my iPhone, the shell around the headphone out is raised and bulky enough to prevent a full inserted connection. But i like the case because it's slim and pretty durable (casecrown). So I am thinking a female to male 1/8 inch headphone adaptor of sorts and the male end is long and thin enough to insert completely without being obstructed by the case ( yes go ahead and make a joke but then after you must answer my question ok thx).

I love how the imbalance Conversation went to "maybe it's your cables". Sorry for all your issues.

Lol. Actually when I think about it it took me about a year to get into kid a. About year after purchasing I saw radiohead in Chicago and hearing the songs live made it finally click. Kid a is still my favorite and I think I may prefer in rainbows over king of limbs but I do like the overall groove on king

Listening. Little by little, awesomeness. That is one funky groove.

Well, I found a really nice case from case crown for my iPhone 4. It's one of those glider cases, where it is 2 pieces that snap into each, but the inside is lined with felt to prevent scratches and to make a nice snug fit. The material is polycarbonate but it's considered a soft feel polycarbonate. It's molded about as perfect as you can get, and sort of latches over the metal side rim making a real nice tight fit that looks great. And it doesn't add much bulk at all because it conforms and is so well molded to the phone. I'm happy, and the wife will get one too. Hosted, it didnt come with a screen protector, and after seeing my wife already get a little micro scratch on her screen, I figured we should get some. If anyone has a recommendation for a screen protector that doesn't suck, easy to apply, no air bubbles or streaks, etc...that would be great.

School is cancelled for tomorrow as well!

The otterbox looks very well made and seems to be very specifically tailored to the iPhone 4 design. Thanks!

Wife upgraded to iPhone 4. Thought I wasnt due for upgrade until February, but had guy check, and they moved up my upgrade timeframe, so I got the 4 as well. Now to find simple bumper like cases preferably the softer material. Will gladly take recs.

Just wanted to reiterate how fantastic the oppo is with standard DVDs. It's amazing how good they look, dare I say pretty close to the few blu rays I have. I guess all that fancy deinterlacing and upscaling mumbo jumbo actually works.

Went ahead with the 83 from agon. Was able to get seller down to 385 with shipping and pay pal, I'm happy. Looking forward to checking out on the g25.

Thanks steve, just what I wanted to know.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I am in the market for a bluray player that upscaled standard DVD well, and by all accounts the oppo 83 is the best (apparently even better than the 93 in regards to DVD upscaling). I was set on going with a panny bd85 which is supposed to be very good for bluray playback and DVD, but all the network features i already have with my panny g25 viera cast, and oppo is apparently extremely high quality as a bluray and DVD player. Also, being a universal player and upgradeability to the se version may allow me to combine my video and audio rig with the oppo as my source. My question is how much is a reasonable price for a used oppo 83? Audiogon sells them very quick, but the ones remaining are around 400. The panny bd85 can be had for less than $200, and though its video playback is considered to be very good, its not an oppo, and I am trying to determine if its worth it to go for the oppo vs. the panny.

	It's no longer a custom

Ye I probably wouldn't bother with a sound bar, it is convenient and mine came with a wireless sub and was free and part of the special package amazon had going.

My panasonic came free with the plasma, it's better than the internal speaker that's for sure. Works well for standard viewing.

	Madden iPad. Thank you.
