Heh, well the triple.fi has already been ordered. I'll post some impressions when I have some time to really listen to them.

And the part I love, is that Ray will NEVER be able to beat the pico. For the size/features ratio.

I almost bought one off ebay one time, but I ran across my MSB and got that instead.

I am using the super.fi 3 right now, and I have no issues with the fit. I did the 'flipside mod' where the cables are reversed, and the body of the IEM fits more snug into the ear. I'll be able to get the triple.fi next weekend when I head back home, so I'll see whats up with it then.

That's exactly it. I want the option of reselling to recoup some cost, if I feel like it. Plus, you need to get inpressions made, which isn't easily done for me, and thats MORE cost to the headphone, which cannot be recouped. The only cusotm option that is viable is the livewires, and there have been reports now the the sound is much less than impressive, and everybody is just goo goo over buying customs.

Looks like I am going to sell my K701 and M^3 for a transportable upgrade. At the moment I cam trying to decide between the Shure E500/E530 and the UE Triple.Fi. They are roughly the same price. I guess I am looking for musicality, while still retaining good detail retrieval. They will be used with my ZV:M (linout) -> Mini^3. Any experiences/suggestions?

These were in consideration for a bit, but only being the FOTM at head-fi doesn't give me any idea how good they are. Plus (obviously) no resale. At the price headroom was selling the triple.fi, I could have used them, then sold them for a profit. I'm so pissed I missed it. However, I think I may LOVE the triple.fi, based off this 3.

I could not stand the er4 when I had it. Its just the ergonomics of it drove me crazy. I liked the sound, but I sold them for a nice loss anyway.
