I'm home sick again with the nasty bug that the Little Monkey brought home with him last Thursday. I haven't been sick like this in a while. Joy.

I remember that feeling well--it's tough. But it's a good reason to want to go home. What helped me during that transition was the thought that my goal at work was to be super efficient and task-oriented during the day so that I could get the hell out of there at a reasonable hour and get back home to my family.

I have mixed feelings about vegetables.

Do the kindle, BN, etc. have illustrations? The various other e-readers are fine for me, but it would be great if something other than iBooks had something for the Little Monkey.

I like iBooks (reading them), but the iBookstore is utter fail, as is the selection.

I can understand people getting bored with baseball. I personally love it, but I played organized ball through a little bit of college. Games these days last far too long. Regardless, the lack of scoring in soccer is truly awful. Not just because it's boring (and it is extremely boring), but also because of the sheer futility of it. Make a nice run, cross, miss everyone, repeat. Or my personal favorite--run into the middle of the field and have a defender kick the shit out of the ball to no one in particular. I actually love soccer, but the game needs more scoring.

How long is the waiting list? Not that I have any intention of buying these.

They should be allowed to use their hands in soccer. Something has to be done to help these fuckers score.
