I thought it would be a great idea to watch "Home Alone" with my 3-year old recently. The old guy above freaked him out.

Justin, I pm'd you 7 minutes ago about the purple balanced version with DAC and it hasn't arrived yet.

Woke up sicker than when I went to bed. Sat around. Complained. Now will listen to some tunes, take some medicine, and drink some whiskey til Katie and Jack come home. Then we'll decorate the tree.

Now, that's not fair. Surely some of it will be urine-colored?

Listening was cut short by arrival of Christmas Tree. I'm sick, so Katie and Jack went out to get the tree. Cute little thing, btw. Anyway, with respect to SQ, the only thing I will say definitively at this point is that the raves about speed and attack, especially on percussion are well-deserved. One thing that is holding back my enjoyment is my fear that the fit may be off just slightly. I get that a bit of that "ear too full" feeling, and I think there may be a hot spot that is nicking the bottom part of my right ear canal. I also sense some definite relief when I take the IEMs out, so I'm not sure that's a great sign. These are the things I find frustrating about customs, and they are similar to the problems I had with my UE10. I know that it takes some dialing in to get them seated right, so maybe that's the issue. I also have a bad cold and I'm very congested. I wonder if that could be part of the problem. Would congestion make the shape of the ear canal different? Anyway, I hear good things when I listen to them, and the raves are spot on. But I am distracted by the fit at this point. EDIT: Not to worry, Dusty. I still don't have enough time with them for any conclusions. Burn-in and so forth...

Nothin' here yet, I am beginning to sense a glancing blow for NYC. EDIT: Of course, the predictions are now upped to 12-18 inches for us. Dan, get up on one of them 'puters you got and let me know what kind of weather the guvment is gonna dump on us.

Haven't had much of a chance to listen to them yet except that first night. So far, so good, but not much else. I like the Pelican case, though. But I don't like the cheap velvet bag they came in. I'll have a chance to do some listening today.

Maybe "The Old Ohmstead"? I think they want to be able to realize as much of the charges with respect to termination in Q4. I also think part of the timing was driven by leasing issues for the office being closed. Too many people laid off. WARN Act kicked in, which means that the employer is required to provide 3-months notice. Absent such a requirement, I think an armed escort would have been provided for the whole bunch.
