  1. Press on gang!
  2. What about the weird restore problem. Anyone ever encounter that?
  3. So you can't combine colors in the way I wanted (i.e., "smoke" a blue or red color). I think they were able to do this at UE, so it's a bit frustrating. I'm now thinking Muddy Water Blue with some very small artwork to indicate R/L because, despite the comments earlier, I don't find it extremely easy to tell which is which.

Null Audio claims to do a remold & mod to the tf10 that will make it "95% of the UE11." I have no information about this company, nor should this be taken as any sort of endorsement. I simply stumbled upon it on the internets. They also do other types of remolding services. IEM Remolding + Modification Service (SF5Pro, TF10Pro, UM2) [CustomMod] - S$432.95 : Null Audio Studio, Where everything is purely handmade

The Gold Box ad says sold out. I have not yet received an order confirmation email from Logitech, but my order is in the system according to my account page. We'll see. I wonder if the triple.fi 11 will be coming out soon. I should probably go after them for royalties on the name.
  6. Man, I wish I were with you all. Have a great time. Jeff, did you bring down the PerfectWave?
  7. 4 x Triple.Fi.

Amazon is sold out. And I'm pretty sure there's an outfit that does custom molds and "mods" to the triple.fi that makes it "identical" to the UE 10 pro. I think it's one of the cable makers.
  9. What--the pissing on the pieces?
  10. So last night I tried to replace both the LCD and the battery to my iPod 5.5g. I probably should have done one at a time to minimize troubleshooting, but hell, I'm an optimist. So after reconnecting everything, I try to turn it on. No joy. But I can hear the HD whirring, so I think it's getting juice. Black screen, though. So obviously it could be a bad LCD that I received. But I also get strange errors when trying to connect to iTunes. It tells me the iPod needs to be restored, but then claims the iPod is busy when it attempts to do so. And that's bullshit. I've tried resetting the damn thing every way I know how to no avail. My next troubleshooting step will be to try to restore it using my PC laptop. After that, I'll probably put in the old LCD. After that the old battery. And after that, I'll piss all over it and smash it to tiny pieces and sell it on HF. Any other suggestions, by the way? I'm all ears.

Heh, they're not exactly flying off the shelves on the 'bay. Oh, well, extra pair for me.

Just bought 4 tf10 from Logitech (both versions are several weeks wait at Amazon). These will be great Holiday gifts for my brother, sis-in-law, and wifey. Then I'll sell pair 4 to cover.

Yup you're right. The regular tf just has a 3-5 week wait time now.

Call me a cynic, but I think this deal is a little weird. Maybe end of life, but are there any rumors or reports about Logitech's financial position?

  17. I guess a question I have is whether there are similarly-priced Blu-Ray players that can do all the things that the "fat" PS3 can do with the exception of games of course.
  18. Tyler, post more pics of yours. They're cool.
  19. Just in time for the SuperBowl! I am going to start preparing the Missus.
  20. Vermilion.
  21. Is the PS3 a useful device if you don't do much gaming? I remember reading about it being a "great" blu-ray player and SACD capable. Whaddya say?
  22. Me want Pico Slim. Now.
  23. Ooh, that reminds me to poke that thread.
